WASHINGTON, D.C.—Local elected officials from the District of Columbia will testify to federal officials about the placement of Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP)-contracted residential reentry centers in the District at a roundtable hosted by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 6:00 p.m., at 1100 4th St. SW, Room E200. Norton will host a panel with officials from BOP and the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency and hear testimony from local officials including Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen and several Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners.
