Lunchtime Music on the Mall Festival to Feature Epiphany and V.I.C.U, Today

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) welcomes local artists Epiphany and V.I.C.U for a Lunchtime Music on the Mall Festival performance today, Thursday, July 21, 2016, from noon – 2:00 p.m., on the National Mall across from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on Jefferson Drive SW between 4th Street and 7th Street SW. Ashley Hodges, known poetically as “Epiphany,” is a poet, host, and workshop facilitator. Vicu Schek (aka V.I.C.U) is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter who plays acoustic and electric guitar, the drums, and piano.

Lunchtime Music on the Mall takes place every Thursday from noon – 2:00 p.m. and is produced by a partnership of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the National Park Service (NPS), in conjunction with Norton’s office.
