Lunchtime ‘Music on the Mall’ to Feature Fast Eddie & The Slowpokes and Epiphany, Today

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) welcomes Fast Eddie & The Slowpokes and Epiphany for today's Lunchtime Music on the Mall performances today, Tuesday, July 18, 2017, from noon – 2:00 p.m., on the National Mall across from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on Jefferson Drive SW between 4th Street and 7th Street SW. Fast Eddie & The Slowpokes are inspired by classic blues material from Chicago to West Coast Swing, Motown to Muscle Shoals, and all the rock n' roll in between. Ashley "Epiphany" Hodges is a spoken-word poet and youth advocate putting in philanthropic or poetic work.

Music on the Mall will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from noon – 2:00 p.m., and is produced by a partnership of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the National Park Service, in conjunction with Norton's office.
