Music on the Mall Festival Canceled Due to Heat Advisory, Inclement Weather

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) announced that today’s Music on the Mall Festival performance is canceled due to a heat advisory warning and possibility of inclement weather, and will resume next Thursday, August 4, 2016.

Lunchtime Music on the Mall takes place every Thursday from noon – 2:00 p.m. and is produced by a partnership of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the National Park Service (NPS), in conjunction with Norton’s office.
