Norton to Read Monologue in “Our War” Play at Arena Stage, Saturday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) said that Norton will read a monologue in the play "Our War" tomorrow, Saturday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Arena Stage, 1101 6th St SW.

The play is hosted by the National Civil War Project, a national partnership between major theaters and universities to commemorate the 150^th anniversary of the Civil War. The play features a series of monologues from more than 20 writers. The production, directed by Anita Maynard-Losh, has featured monologues delivered by prominent Washingtonians such as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray is also scheduled to perform on Saturday. "Our War" is set to run at Arena Stage from October 21 - November 9.
