Purpose: For a study to determine the feasibility of swimming in the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers in the District of Columbia.

Purpose: To reconfigure South Dakota Ave NE.

Address: 1350 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. 20004

Amount: $2,000,000

Purpose: To install floodproofing for homes. 

Federal Nexus: The project has a Federal nexus because the funding provided is for purposes authorized by section 203 of the Stafford Act (42 U.S.C. 5133), as amended by Section 1234, National Public Infrastructure Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation, of the Disaster Recovery Reform Act (DRRA) of 2018.

FloodSmart Homes

 

Recipient: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Amount: $3,000,000

Purpose: For a study on flooding in the Federal Triangle area of the District of Columbia.

Federal Nexus: This project has a federal nexus because the funding provided is for purposes authorized by section 8201(a)(12) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2022 (P.L. 117-263, Division H, Section 8201(a)(12)).

Purpose: To upgrade laboratories.

Amount: $2,000,000

Purpose: To upgrade Firebird Farm.

Federal Nexus: This project has a federal nexus because the funding provided is for purposes authorized by chapter 53 of title 49 of the United States Code.

Amount: $2,500,000

Purpose: To upgrade UDC's aviation maintenance facility.

Federal Nexus: This project has a federal nexus because the funding provided is for purposes authorized by chapter 53 of title 49 of the United States Code.

Purpose: To construct bicycle and bus lanes on M Street.

M St SW Safety Project

Amount: $2,250,000

Purpose: To install electrified charging stations for Capital Bikeshare electric bicycles.

Purpose: For updating playground equipment and surfacing.

Purpose: To upgrade the irrigation system for the baseball field at Volta Park.
