A Community Conversation on Hot-Button Issues with Norton

WASHINGTON, DC – The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) said that the D.C. Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2A (serving the Foggy Bottom and the West End neighborhoods), in conjunction with Norton, will host a "Norton In Your Neighborhood" community conversation today, Wednesday, March 20, 2013, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., at the West End Library (1101 24^th St. NW). Norton will discuss the impact of sequestration on D.C., the Height Act, construction jobs in the city, D.C. equality legislation that has been enacted, and the 20-week D.C. abortion ban bill, which was defeated. Above all, Norton said, she wants to hear D.C. residents' feedback.
