Acapella Favorite “The Light” at Lunchtime Music on the Mall Today at Noon

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) reminded workers downtown about today's Lunchtime Music on the Mall performance, featuring hometown D.C. acapella group The Light, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the National Mall near the Smithsonian Metro Station. Lunchtime Music on the Mall is sponsored by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and the National Park Service, in conjunction with Norton.

"Lunchtime Music on the Mall offers downtown workers and visitors alike the chance to unwind on the National Mall, taking in the scenery on their lunch break, while listening to extraordinarily talented local and regional musicians. I am particularly pleased to welcome a hometown D.C. group as today's performers," Norton said.

The sponsors of Lunchtime Music on the Mall plan to bring performers to the Mall every Tuesday and Thursday during the good weather months.
