WASHINGTON, DC - House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, Jr. (D-MI),Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), and Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Chairman of the Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties, will hold a press conference on the D.C. House Voting Rights Act (H.R. 157)on Wednesday, February 25 at the Rayburn Horseshoe at 3:00 PM (immediately following the House Judiciary Committee markup of the bill).
