Lunchtime ‘Music on the Mall’ to Feature Words Beats & Life and Tosin Aribisala, Today

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) welcomes Words Beats & Life and Tosin Aribisala for today's Lunchtime Music on the Mall performances today, Thursday, July 27, 2017, from noon – 2:00 p.m., on the National Mall across from the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on Jefferson Drive SW between 4th Street and 7th Street SW. Words Beats & Life is a Hip-Hop non-profit that has been serving the District of Columbia area for over 15 years. Tosin Aribisala is a composer, vocalist, and percussionist who explores jazz, funk, rock, reggae and Afro-Cuban music.

Music on the Mall will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from noon – 2:00 p.m., and is produced by a partnership of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the National Park Service, in conjunction with Norton's office.
