Norton and Sponsors to Speak at Lunchtime Music on the Mall Kick-Off Today

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), along with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and National Park Service officials, will speak today, Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at the kick-off of Lunchtime Music on the Mall, on 7th St. between Madison Dr. and Jefferson Dr. SW. A performance by D.C. area singer/songwriter Nila Kay, who recently released her debut album, Serial Love, will begin at noon today with brief remarks by Norton and the sponsors during intermission at 12:30 p.m. Lunchtime Music on the Mall will continue every Tuesday and Thursday during the good weather months.
