Norton Awaiting Inauguration Tickets for District Residents

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today thanked her constituents in the District for the tremendous outpouring of interest her offices have seen in tickets for the 2013 inauguration of President Barack Obama. However, at this time, the Congresswoman has not received her allotment of tickets. She notes that if requests continue to come in at the rapid pace that they have been since the election, her office will have to do what was done four years ago and allocate tickets in a lottery.

Her office will issue another press release and post details to her website as soon as there is more information to share about the process for requesting consideration for inauguration tickets.
