WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser, and D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson will be joined by House Oversight and Reform Chairwoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) this Thursday, January 30th, at 2:00 p.m. to announce a major D.C. statehood update at the African American Civil War Museum.
