WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today said that she's pleased to continue to serve on the Committee on Oversight and Reform in the 117th Congress, particularly on the Subcommittee on Government Operations, which has jurisdiction over D.C.'s large number of federal employees, and the Subcommittee on Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.
"I'm looking forward to continuing to serve on the Subcommittees on Government Operations and Civil Rights and Civil Liberties of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in 117th Congress, where I'll prioritize issues related to D.C. statehood, oversight of security operations related to the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, and other rising issues," Norton said.
