Norton Highlights Congressional Black Caucus 2020 National Black Leadership Summit, Tomorrow

February 3, 2020

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) is reminding the District of Columbia's Black community that tomorrow is the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) National Black Leadership Summit. Because this is a critical time for the country and the Black community, national leaders from across the country will come to Capitol Hill to discuss action on civil rights, voting rights, health care, education, black wealth, criminal justice reform, the 2020 Census, and much more.

Since 1971 the CBC, has been committed to using the full constitutional power, statutory authority, and financial resources of the federal government to ensure that African Americans have equal opportunity in the United States. Due to overwhelming interest, the event is full. Norton encourages residents who are not leaders of organizations to watch live here: https://www.facebook.com/CongressionalBlackCaucus/.
