Norton in Your Neighborhood with Advisory Neighborhood Commission 8A Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will host a "Norton in Your Neighborhood" conversation with Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 8A tomorrow at the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development Center at 7:00 p.m.

Norton will engage District of Columbia residents in a conversation on recent congressional actions, including historic momentum for D.C. statehood that has developed in the House and Senate. She will also discuss her efforts to secure a clean D.C. Appropriations bill from the House, her success saving DCTAG funding, and her record in passing bills for D.C priorities, including bills that are rebuilding neighborhoods. Because of Norton's record passing bills and supporting her jurisdiction, the Center for Effective Lawmaking ranked Norton as the most effective House Democrat in the last Congress.
