Washington, DC - Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today, Saturday, April 18, will join a group of D.C. bloggers at Big Bear Café, at First and R St., NW, 4:30 p.m. They will discuss some of the District's most pressing issues in Congress, including, Norton said, "trying to paste guns on a voting rights bill," D.C. and federal stimulus projects Norton hopes to use to jump-start the failing D.C. economy. The discussion will also be about D.C.'s neighborhood parks owned by the National Park Service, photographers' rights at Union Station, Norton's big push to make D.C. the greenest capital in the world, and, Norton adds, "Stuff like that."
