Washington, DC--Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will participate in the 5 PM candlelight vigil for the Jacks family outside their home at 4249 6th Street, SE, where four sisters were found dead last week.
"I have nothing to say or bring that is commensurate with the loss of four girls, perhaps the worst single tragedy involving children in our city in my lifetime. Today's vigil must do more than remember the cruel end of their sweet, young lives. I go first in memory of Brittany, Tatianna, N'Kiah, and Aja, but I also to get inspired to believe that no such tragedy could again happen in our city," Norton said.
