Norton’s Congressional Art Competition Entries Receive More Recognition
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today announced that the exhibit of works of art by D.C. students entered in the 2012 Congressional Art Competition that have been on display at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport since June will remain there through October 15, 2012, by popular demand.
"We are delighted that National Airport and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority have given prime space for an exhibition of some of the best works from this year's Congressional Art Competition," Norton said. "Holding over the exhibition until mid-October speaks to the public appreciation for the works of these talented young artists. Now, even more residents and visitors will have the opportunity to take a first-hand look at the professional quality of the artistic talent of students from our city's public, private, charter and religious schools."
The artwork will remain in its current location, the terminal B and C baggage claim area.
