Norton to Appear in Washington, D.C. Episode of Travel Channel’s ‘Zimmern List,’ Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will appear in a new episode of the "Zimmern List" with chef and culinary personality Andrew Zimmern tomorrow, Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 9:00 p.m., on the Travel Channel. Norton sat down for breakfast with Zimmern at "Unconventional Diner" in Shaw as he toured local hotspots in the District of Columbia.

"As Andrew Zimmern toured the nation's capital, I wanted to ensure his viewers got a true hometown perspective on D.C. and our burgeoning food scene," Norton said. "Of course, I also took this opportunity to educate Andrew's national audience about the denial of democracy in D.C. and our fight to make D.C. the 51^st state."
