Norton to Appear on PBS’s To the Contrary on Sunday

WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), a regular guest on PBS's "To The Contrary," will appear on the show at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 14. The show will also air at various times nationally throughout the week. Norton will debate whether a very radical version of feminist activism is hurting or helping Muslim women, the passing of the controversial Margaret Thatcher, and a new program from the organization Count Me In to help female veterans and military spouses achieve economic independence. Norton appears regularly with host Bonnie Erbé on "To the Contrary," which features debates by four women with contrasting views on controversial issues and political topics of the day.
