Norton to Bring Breaking Federal News, Seek Feedback from Residents

November 7, 2012

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) brings her "Norton in Your Neighborhood" conversation to Ward 5 today, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Bates Area Civic Association meeting being held at the CAPCS School (1400 1st Street NW) at 6:30 p.m. "Norton in Your Neighborhood" conversations allow the Congresswoman to bring breaking federal and congressional news and analysis to residents where they live, and receive feedback from them on issues of importance to their community.

"Besides election results, there will be lots to say and get feedback on – what D.C. achieved in the most conservative House in memory and the work awaiting Congress once the lame-duck session begins, particularly avoiding the fiscal cliff," Norton said.

If your group would like to bring a "Norton in Your Neighborhood" conversation to your community, please call the Congresswoman's district office at (202) 783-5065.
