Norton to Celebrate Women in Politics, Present Award to Mayor Anthony Williams Today

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak at events today to celebrate women in politics and to present an award former District of Columbia Mayor Anthony Williams. Norton will first speak at a celebration of women in politics at Howard University at 3:00 p.m. moderated by Donna Brazile, Norton's first Chief of Staff, which includes Representatives Karen Bass (D-CA), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), and Ayana Pressley (D-MA). At 6:00 p.m., at the Community Foundation's Annual Gala, Norton will present the Philanthropy Civic Spirit Award to Williams.
