Norton to Deliver Remarks at Anniversary Celebration for Downtown Cluster’s Geriatric Day Care Center Friday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will offer remarks at a gala for the 36^th anniversary gala of the Downtown Cluster's Geriatric Day Care Center today, Friday, October 5, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Navy Yard Catering and Conference Center, 1411 Parsons Ave. SE. The center provides therapeutic and recreational activities for seniors in the District.

"At a time when Medicare is at the center of the presidential campaign, I am looking forward to joining the staff and hundreds of volunteers who serve our city's senior citizens at the Downtown Cluster's Geriatric Day Care Center," Norton said.
