Norton to Feature DC Academy Grad at U.S. Service Academy Night, Will Also Speak at DC Water Ribbon Cutting

May 29, 2019

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak at a ribbon cutting for DC Water's new headquarters and Open House at 3:00 p.m. and host a U.S. Service Academy night tomorrow evening, May 30th, following the press conference for a major D.C. statehood announcement.

Norton's Service Academy Night will feature special guest speaker CDT Patrick Bailey (USMA, 2019), who graduated from Gonzaga in 2014. Norton's Service Academy Night, a college recruitment fair, allows for D.C.'s students and graduates to learn more about the U.S. Service Academies. D.C. students grades 6-12 and their parents will get to meet admission officers and U.S. Academy alumni to learn about the advantages of the U.S. Service Academies and get information to be accepted for commission to any of the five academies.
