Norton to Hold Quarterly Community Meeting with National Park Service, U.S. Park Police, and D.C. Residents Thursday

December 6, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will hold a virtual community meeting open to all District of Columbia residents with representatives from the National Park Service (NPS) and U.S. Park Police on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. Her quarterly community meetings with NPS have been popular with her constituents. Most D.C. neighborhood parks fall under NPS's jurisdiction.

"My quarterly meetings have become the most effective way for me to hear from constituents and work to resolve concerns on issues related to parks that fall under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service," Norton said. "We are fortunate to have so many parks in nearly all our neighborhoods. I look forward to hearing from my constituents."

To attend, email NortonEvents@mail.house.gov for the Zoom link. The event will be open to the public and to the media.
