Norton to Hold Surface Transportation Roundtable Tomorrow, April 8th at 6:00 p.m.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), chair of the Subcommittee of Highways & Transit of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, will hold a virtual event titled “Hit the Road: A Conversation on Improving Surface Transportation in the District” tomorrow, April 8th from 6-7:00 p.m. Featured panelists will be Interim Director of the D.C. Department of Transportation Everett Lott, the General Manager and CEO of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Paul J. Wiedefeld, Executive Director of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association Gregory Billing, and President of the Transportation Trades Department AFL-CIO Greg Regan.
“This local roundtable is in preparation for passage of the most comprehensive infrastructure bill ever passed by the House of Representatives,” Norton said.
