Norton to Host Community Forum on D.C. Statehood and Community Building, Tuesday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On the day that national organizations speak about their support and work on Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton's (D-DC) District of Columbia statehood bill, Norton will that evening host a Community Forum moderated by Reverend William Lamar IV at the Metropolitan AME Church at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2nd, to discuss D.C. statehood. The forum is a chance for D.C. residents, faith-based activists, and members of community groups to hear and speak out on the latest efforts to achieve statehood and to build community around this shared goal.
