June 7, 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) announced that she will be hosting a roundtable entitled, “Making the Best Use of D.C.’s Marinas and Rivers” on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at 200 I (Eye) St. SE (First Floor Multipurpose Room). Norton and National Park Service National Capital Parks-East Superintendent Gopaul Noojibail will hear testimony from District of Columbia residents, owners of marinas in the District, and boat owners.

“Water and marina access is a major asset in the District of Columbia, and we are proud and fortunate to be located on two rivers,” Norton said. “This roundtable is an opportunity to hear directly from residents, business owners, and organizations who want to enhance the use of our rivers and marinas.”
