?Norton to Introd?uce Former President Bill Clinton at Service Project Sunday

WASHINGTON, DC –Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton(D-DC) will introduce former President Bill Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative University on Sunday, April 1 at Kelly Miller Middle School at 9:30 a.m.

The Clinton Global Initiative 2012 is partnering with, George Washington University and the USO to send 800 volunteers from the University and CGIU to provide repairs to homeowners in need. Norton, who worked closely with Clinton when he was in office, said, "No one can be surprised that the former President, who has spent his post-presidency helping nations to rebuild, would be doing the same in his own country, particularly in the District of Columbia. I am sure what the former President saw in eight years as a resident of the District informs his good works throughout the world today."
