Norton to Join President Obama at Dedication of National Monument Honoring Women’s Equality

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will join President Obama and offer remarks at a designation of a new national monument honoring the movement for women’s equality today, Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at 144 Constitution Ave NE. The Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument, previously known as the Sewall-Belmont House, will protect the house that has served as the headquarters for the National Woman’s Party since 1929.
