Norton to Launch New Resource Program for D.C. Nonprofit Organizations, Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will launch a new Nonprofit Resources Program for District of Columbia nonprofits at an information session tomorrow, February 19th, at 11:30 a.m. at One Judiciary Square. Norton's program will connect District-based nonprofit organizations with federal resources they need to continue their work within their communities, while also establishing a mentorship program. The program will connect smaller nonprofits with larger organizations that can offer guidance in leadership, staff development, grant writing, and funding readiness. At the event, a panel of experts and nonprofit leaders will share information on federal grants as well as private and legal resources.
