Norton to March in Annual July 4th Palisades Parade, Today

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will participate in today's Palisades Fourth of July Parade. The parade, organized by the Palisades Citizens Association, kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and proceeds along MacArthur Blvd. NW from the firehouse on Whiteheaven Pkwy. NW to the Palisades Recreation Center (5200 Sherier PL. NW).

"It is always a treat attending D.C.'s unofficial July Fourth community parade in the Palisades, where residents come together to celebrate our country's independence alongside family, friends, and neighbors," Norton said. "Today we walk for equality with statehood for D.C. residents."
