Norton to Present Gloria Steinem with ‘Keeper of the Dream’ Award at National Action Network’s 25th Anniversary Event, Tonight

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will present one of the National Action Network’s (NAN) “Keeper of the Dream” awards, an honor given every April by NAN to mark the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s death, to Gloria Steinem as part of NAN’s annual national convention tonight, Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Sheraton New York Times Square (811 7^th Ave. New York, NY).

“The National Action Network has found in Gloria Steinem a champion worthy of their award in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” Norton said. “What a treat it is for me to present this award to my good friend, Gloria Steinem, a keeper of the dream of equality for women and justice for all.”
