Norton to Read to Children at Northeast Library on World Book Day, Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today announced Norton will read Grumpy Pants by Claire Messer tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. to children at the Northeast Library on World Book Day, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Norton will be joined by Richard Reyes-Gavilan, the executive director of the D.C. Public library.
"My grandsons would rather me read to them than go out and play," Norton said. "Reading to children is what I do!"
