Norton to Speak at AFGE’s Annual Legislative Conference, Sunday

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will offer remarks at the American Federation of Government Employees' (AFGE) annual legislative conference tomorrow, Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill (400 New Jersey Ave. NW). Norton was an original cosponsor of the House-passed bill to give federal workers a 2.6 percent pay increase.

"I look forward to joining our largest union in the federal sector representing both federal and District of Columbia employees," Norton said. "AFGE members have just suffered through the longest government shutdown in history, inspiring me to continue the fight with renewed energy to ensure the President does not hold our federal employees hostage yet again."
