Norton to Speak at AFGE's 2018 Legislative Conference, Sunday

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will offer remarks during the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) 2018 Legislative Conference on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill (400 New Jersey Avenue NW).

"I am proud of the unflagging efforts of AFGE, our largest union in the federal sector representing both federal and District of Columbia employees, for never letting our workers down," Norton said. "Our employees have borne the burden of short-term budgets and looming shutdowns, as well as budget cuts and layoffs. I look forward to thanking AFGE members and assuring them of our efforts to regain the fairness, wages and benefits they deserve."
