Norton to Speak at Alliance for Youth Action, Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak to the Alliance for Youth Action tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6th, at the Eaton Hotel at 5:00 p.m. Norton will speak on the importance of youth activism, voting, as well as statehood for the District of Columbia.

"The increasing levels of engagement by young people is the brightest light on the horizon for the change the American people have been calling for," Norton said. "The El Paso and Dayton tragedies have put in bold print only one of the most urgent issues we must address. The Alliance for Youth Action's agenda is a virtual call to action for many others."
