Norton to Speak at Georgetown’s 3rd Annual Criminal Justice Summit

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak at Georgetown's 3rd Annual Criminal Justice Summit tomorrow to discuss her work on criminal justice reform. Norton has spent her career pursuing criminal justice reform, including her work that added language to the First Step Act to clarify that the law applies to D.C. Code offenders in the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) facilities, and not just federal offenders.
