Norton to Speak at National Black Nurses Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak at the National Black Nurses Association's (NBNA) celebration of National Black Nurses Day this Thursday, February 6th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Court Hotel. Norton will speak to hundreds of nurses and nursing students from across the country on addressing the social determinants of health. The NBNA will focus on several issues at their conference, including the epidemic of HIV/AIDS, climate change and environmental justice, smoking and vaping, gun violence, and mental health.
