Norton to Speak at National Youth Involvement Board Conference with Credit Unions, Tonight

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak this evening to the National Youth Involvement Board Conference (NYIB), an organization of credit unions dedicated to reaching young people and educating them on their financial futures. NYIB helps young people learn about savings programs, financial education resources, and connects them with peers to increase financial literacy.

"I thank our credit unions for working with the next generation," Norton said. "Young people must matriculate through a far more complicated and expansive financial network than their parents faced, while grappling with student loan repayments that will slow their economic success and mobility."
