Norton to Speak at Public Showing of Mary’s House, Tomorrow

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) announced that Norton will speak at Mary's Housearound 4:00 p.m. this Saturday, September 20, in the Fort Dupont Park neighborhood of the District of Columbia. Mary's House will serve as a community for elderly lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) D.C. residents.

"Mary's House will play an important role for our aging LGBT population," Norton said. "Our older LGBT residents are, regrettably, more vulnerable to discrimination while seeking alternative housing."
