Norton to Speak at Unveiling of Waterfront Park at the Wharf, Today

Park Will Be Dedicated to the Congresswoman

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will speak at the formal unveiling of Waterfront Park at The Wharf today, Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 3:30 p.m., at 525 Water St. SW (Corner of M and Water St.). Hoffman-Madison Waterfront, the partnership leading The Wharf redevelopment project, will dedicate the park for Norton in recognition of her work in passing her legislation, the Southwest Waterfront Redevelopment Act, which was signed into law in 2012, allowing the development of The Wharf to proceed.
