WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Navy Seaman Jonathan Rucker, home on leave from Japan, and his mother, met with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today. They discussed how one family helped change federal law to recognize the District of Columbia's flag and D.C.'s servicemembers and veterans. CSSN Rucker, a D.C. native and graduate of Roosevelt High School, said his goal is to be a career naval officer. More details here.
