WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC), who appears regularly with host Bonnie Erbé on the PBS news series "To The Contrary," will participate on the show this Sunday, December 11, 2011. This week's topics will include Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's speech at the United Nations Human Rights Council advocating for human rights for LGBT individuals worldwide, the Obama administration's rejection of the Food and Drug Administration's recommendation for over-the-counter sales of Plan B, the "morning after pill," andthe importance of breast cancer screenings.
The show, which features comments from four women with contrasting views on emerging controversial issues and political topics, airs nationally and can be seen in the D.C. area on PBS at 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.
