Tuesday Lunchtime Music on the Mall to Feature Guitarist Hari Vasan

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) welcomes vocalist and acoustic guitarist Hari Vasan as the seventh feature performer in the Lunchtime Music on the Mall series on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from noon to 1:00 p.m. on the National Mall, near the Smithsonian Metro Station, at 12th St. and Jefferson Dr. SW.

Hari Vasan is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from the District of Columbia. Vasan performs cover versions of popular songs at local open mics, and his sound ranges from alternative rock to soft, acoustic ballads. He is currently recording a debut album of original music.

Lunchtime Music on the Mall brings local and regional musicians to the National Mall to give visitors as well as federal and other office workers downtown a break from the pace of business in Washington.
