Tuesday’s Lunchtime Music on the Mall to Feature Singer Damion Wolfe Siford

June 9, 2015

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today announced that Damion Wolfe Siford will be a featured performer at this week's Lunchtime Music on the Mall. The performance will take place today, Tuesday, June 9, 2015, from noon – 1:00 p.m. on the National Mall at 7th Street and Jefferson Drive SW. Lunchtime Music on the Mall is produced by a partnership of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation, and the National Park Service, in conjunction with Norton's office.

"I am pleased to be working with the four partners who are producing Lunchtime Music on the Mall to provide residents and downtown workers with the chance to take a break from D.C.'s breakneck pace and relax while enjoying music and other activities outdoors," Norton said. "The Mall is a premier park and should be a lively space during the daytime hours."

Damion Wolfe Siford is a film and television composer and a songwriter from the District of Columbia. Siford's work focuses on using music as storytelling, and has included commercials, public service announcements, several independent films, a TV show, and the theme for a television pilot.
