Norton Gets GSA to Move Forward on Old Post Office Redevelopment

WASHINGTON, DC -- Congresswoman Eleanor Homes Norton (D-DC), the ranking Democratic member of the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management, today got the General Services Administration (GSA) to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to develop the Old Post Office, a priceless historic treasure, and its Annex, which have sat vacant since 1998.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Following yesterday's Computers for Learning Program (CFL) kick-off at Kramer Middle School, where the General Services Administration (GSA) donated 28 computers, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) is taking the lead to encourage federal agencies and companies to donate unused computers and unused computer equipment to GSA for transfer to public and public charter schools and educational nonprofit organizations.
