WASHINGTON, DC – With today’s deadline for D.C. residents to sign up for health insurance through DC Health Link, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) alerted residents that they can get free sign-up help from insurance brokers and DC Health Link today at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library (901 G St. NW), from 10:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., and that her office can provide further information, including on free brokers to sign up for health insurance.

WASHINGTON, DC – The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) announced that Tanya Chutkan’s nomination to become a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia was approved today by the Senate Judiciary Committee. Chutkan, whose nomination was recommended to President Obama by Norton, is expected to be confirmed by the full Senate.
