WASHINGTON, DC – The office of Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) today reported that 230 D.C. small business owners and residents participated in yesterday's Small Business Fair, with over 75 one-on-one counselors, resource providers, and federal agency procurement officers. The morning plenary session and workshops were at full capacity.
WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) this evening, Tuesday, June 4, 2103, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., at 600 5th St. NW, will attend auditions held by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for Lunchtime Music on the Mall and the "MetroPerforms!" series. Lunchtime Music on the Mall is sponsored by WMATA, the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the National Park Service (NPS), in conjunction with Norton. Norton said she is pleased that WMATA's efforts are enlivening outdoor areas in the city.

The Gateway Pavilion, being built in anticipation of the coming of the first federal employees to be housed east of the Anacostia River, will be a multi-purpose outdoor structure serving District residents, visitors, small businesses and federal employees.
